Q: What information is shared with other members?
A: No personal information is shared other than your name, approximate
age, and zip code. Phone numbers are shared if you select them to be shared in your preferences. All E-mails are kept private. All
communication is made through the website. If you wish to share your information
with other members please do so at your discretion.
Q: How do you challenge another member?
A: Once you get to the challenge screen you fill in the date, time and
court of the match. Once you click on the challenge button, the challenge
is set. You should then see it on your challenges tab on the my matches
page. Your opponent will also see it in his challenges tab. Your opponent
must accept the challenge in order for the challenge to be completed.
Q: How do I update a played match score?
A: Once the time and date of the match has past, the challenge will
be in your pending matches. Only the challenger can enter the score.
Click on the match and you should be able to set the score. Once the
score is entered your opponent must accept the score. Once the score
is accepted, the match moves to your completed tab.
Q: How does the point system work?
A: The point system is set up to encourage competitive play. Points
are calculated by the number games you win multiplied by the rating
of your opponent. The challenger is also given a 5 point bonus for initiating
the challenge.
Example: You won both sets 6-3, 6-4 and you were the challenger, you
have a rating of 4.0 and your opponent had a rating of 3.5. You would
receive (12 x 3.5) + 5 = 47 points, while your opponent would receive
(7 x 4.0) = 28 points.
